I was born at Hillcrest in 1954, so this film is particularly interesting to me - what my hometown looked like then.

We lived in Mingo and our house was close enough to the runway that I could see it in later years when flying back to Tulsa. The American Airlines maintenance facility was only a couple of blocks to the south of us and many of my friends' fathers worked there.

About 1964, I toured the Kerr glass factory with my 4-H group.

In 1972, I was hired as cashier at the Delman and loved it there. When the grandfather picks up the kids, that is the area in front of the theater. However, the very next shot of them walking down the sidewalk is someplace else. There weren't big buildings like that around the Delman.
